ABOUT

Roundballin is a basketball creative studio.

We build identities, apparel, event creative, graphics, and stories for teams, tournaments, and organizations inside the game — from hometown gyms to nationally recognized basketball events.

Our work is already showing up on the stages we designed it for: on the court, throughout event environments, across apparel and merchandise, on screens, and in the hands of players, coaches, fans, and partners.

But the size of the stage doesn't change how we approach the work.

Every project starts with what makes it distinct — the place, the people, the history, the culture, and the personality behind it. From there, we create something that couldn't simply belong somewhere else. Distinctive typography. Strong marks. Thoughtful storytelling. Basketball and regional symbolism built together, not added as an afterthought.

We design it. We make it. We document it.

An idea doesn't have to stop at a logo. We think about how an identity moves from the screen to the gym, onto apparel, throughout an event, through photography and media, and into the things people take home with them. The entire experience matters.

Our perspective comes from years spent designing, producing apparel, building brands, and being around the game. We respect where basketball has been without trying to recreate it — and we're interested in making work worthy of where it's going.

No templates. No interchangeable tournament identities.

Make the place part of the game.

Behind Roundballin

Roundballin was founded by Jeremy “Syms” Symons, a Michigan-based designer and creative director whose work spans nearly three decades of design, brand building, apparel, and production.

Syms began designing in the late 1990s and founded Yooper Shirts in 2009, building a production operation that has served schools, teams, tournaments, businesses, and organizations through design, screen printing, embroidery, merchandise, and fulfillment.

That experience shapes how Roundballin approaches creative work today. We don't design identities in isolation. We understand how a mark needs to perform on a screen, across an event, embroidered on a hat, printed on a shirt, reproduced at scale, photographed courtside, and carried forward as a brand.

Roundballin brings that experience into basketball — combining creative direction, production knowledge, and a lifelong connection to the game to build work meant to live inside it.

No hype. Just the work.
